Yay for good weekends!
So, this weekend was very full! I went home on Friday night and my mom fixed me, Kim, Kristin H., and Sarah Bernard dinner and we got to sit around and talk. We started watching The Cutting Edge and had a long and involved conversation about the movies we used to watch as kids. It was a great night.
Saturday morning, we went to the game and we won against Benedictine and it was nice to win the first game of the season. Then KU, being the b*tches they are, pulled the Jazz to play with them. But we held them from scoring for like the first 14 min and I think they only scored 3 times the whole game. That was exciting! Then my car started traversing the state. We started in Atchison, KS and ended up in St. Louis several hours later. Kim's mom made us enchiladas and we had chips and salsa and guacamole and it was super yummy! And we got showers too, so we didn't stink by the time we got to Matty H's. On the way to the party, we stopped to get some beer....and we were so goofy and giggly. I attribute this to the heat and dehydration of the day! And the giggly-ness didn't end there...we were goofy the whole night. It was so much fun! AND I GOT TO SEE SO MANY PEOPLE!!! I had such a good time catching up, that it made me totally anxious for Alumni! You all better come, for my sanity. We left early this morning to head back to the ville and stopped at Bread Co. Yum! Kirksville is so devoid of good places to eat. And now, I'm putting off the hours of homework I have to do to write to you! I also went cleat shopping....but I didn't wat to pay for adult cleats and the kids cleats didn't fit. I kinda blew-out the side of my right cleat in the game....I had to duck tape it to my foot for the second game! It was kinda funny :) So now, I'm cleatless and I need them for next weekend at latest. I"ll probably break down on Thursday or Friday and buy adult cleats. Well, I'd better go attempt that homework and get psyched for my Chiefs game tonight. Its the Sunday night game and we play Oakland...I hope that it goes well! Have wonderful weeks all and I still miss you, but only 34 days till the Alumni game!!!

Yay for duct tape it works for everything! I should have given you my spare cleat to replace your torn one- then you could wear two different ones like a truly cool rugger.
If you guys ever come to lawrence then there is a bread co here and some other cool places. So maybe KU will get its act together next time and if i have to i'll figure out how to reserve the pitch myself. cheers -see you at alumni.
